This page explains the basis on which we publish technical content, articles and portfolio material.
Technical content is general, not advice
Articles, guides and configuration notes on this site describe approaches that worked in a particular situation. Telephony and web systems differ enormously between deployments — carrier behaviour, PBX versions, network topology and regulatory requirements all vary. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific system, and following it is at your own risk.
Test any configuration change in a non-production environment first, and keep a backup you have actually verified you can restore. We are not liable for outages, call loss, data loss or charges arising from applying published material.
Accuracy and currency
We aim to keep content accurate, but software moves. Versions, interfaces and best practice change, and older articles may describe behaviour that no longer holds. We make no warranty that content is complete, current or error-free, and we may change or remove it without notice.
Portfolio and results
Project descriptions, case studies and figures on this site describe past work in the conditions that applied at the time. Some client names are withheld or abbreviated under confidentiality. Past results are not a promise of future outcomes — yours will depend on your scope, systems, budget and market.
Testimonials
Testimonials are genuine feedback from real engagements, edited only for length and to remove confidential detail. They reflect the experience of those clients, not a guarantee of anyone else's.
Third-party products and links
We reference third-party software — Asterisk, FreePBX, Vicidial, FusionPBX, FreeSWITCH, VitalPBX, MagnusBilling, A2Billing and others — for identification only. All trademarks belong to their owners. Naming a product is not endorsement by or of us, and we are not responsible for the content or availability of sites we link to.
No professional relationship
Reading this site, or contacting us through it, does not by itself create a consulting relationship. That begins only when we have agreed a written scope, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Emergency calling
VoIP depends on power and internet connectivity, and may not reliably reach emergency services or convey your location. Never rely on a VoIP system as your only means of emergency contact.

If something here looks wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
